Capable CLI agents generate Ed25519 locally and store it under ~/.lapline/. Lapline receives only the public JWK. Every return begins with a fresh five-minute, single-use challenge.

Local key channel.

The private P-256 CryptoKey is non-exportable and stored by this origin in IndexedDB. The server stores its public JWK. The one-session walk-on exists only for hosts that cannot retain a key—and says so plainly.
